Tunica, MS. (June 18, 2018): The Tunica County Airport Commission (TCAC) will be holding a full scale mock disaster response exercise on Thursday, June 21st, 2018. The Tunica Airport is mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to conduct a full scale exercise every 3 years in order to meets its requirements under the FAA Regulations. A simulated Active Shooter exercise will assist to confirm and ensure that its Emergency Response Plan meets the overall requirements and remains current and effective.

Tunica Airport Launches New Air Service Via Ashley Air to Atlanta, Charlotte, Orlando, and Tampa/St. Pete

TUNICA, Miss., May 29, 2018 – Tunica Airport is bringing back regular scheduled air service to the Tunica destination. The new partnership with Ashley Air and Travel will provide service to four new markets, Atlanta, Charlotte, Orlando, and St. Pete/Tampa beginning July 1, 2018. To celebrate the new service, Ashley Air and Travel is offering an introductory $599 annual travel membership, including unlimited travel on all routes served by Ashley Air for $39 each way. Taxes and additional fees are not included.

Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental Coming to Tunica Airport

TUNICA, Miss., April 30, 2013 – The Tunica County Airport today announced it has expanded its car rental service through a partnership with Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental. The addition of Avis and Budget will give travelers rental opportunities in Tunica at competitive rates and with a wide range of options for travelers including Emergency Roadside Assistance, GPS navigation devices, satellite radio and other ways to make each visit a special experience.

The Tunica County Airport Commission (TCAC) will be holding a full scale mock disaster response exercise on Saturday, June 16, 2012 commencing at approximately 9:00 a.m. and continuing until approximately 12:00 p.m. The Tunica Airport is mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to conduct a full scale exercise every 3 years in order to meets its requirements under the FAA Regulations. A simulated airplane crash will assist to confirm and ensure that its Emergency Response Plan meets the overall requirements and remains current and effective.


Vision Airlines Begins Non-Stop Air Service Between Tunica and Destin

Today Vision Airlines launched low-fare, nonstop air service between Tunica Airport (UTM) and the Northwest Florida International Airport in Destin/Ft. Walton Beach, FL (VPS). The airline will operate five flights a week to Destin, using a 30 passenger Dornier 328 turbo-prop aircraft. Parking will be free for passengers flying to and from the Tunica Airport.
